| Okay today is kind of a strange day. My creativity has been on a crazed rampage!!! Check this out, we were told to write a "You might be interested in..." speech. And this crazy thing popped into my head!!! How to Find a Random Topic for a Random Speech Class Assignment We all have been here (or already are). Trying to find a topic for speech class, and not having any good ideas. We feel that at this rate we won’t be even able to find a topic in time for the speech. Yes, the deadly writers block, which always blocks our imagination and prevents us from getting in homework. Well, today I have the answer.
This obviously happens to every student in the world. The moments where you creativity alludes you. Yes, creativity has it’s cruel inconsistencies. My answer to this problem is to be either very random (with some restrictions) or completely obvious. Everyone knows that once you start writing things come to your mind with ease. That is why you should pick something either very close to you, or completely apparent. Obviousness quickly regains your minds creativity and unlocks the inner workings of our minds.
Now the main interest of the boredom struck children is to start a paper. This is not only an interest, but a need. It is needed to pass speech class, which in turn is needed to graduate school and also to advance onto college (for whoever of us plans on going). Finishing the paper is good, but you can’t just pick any topic. You must pick a topic that you know something about, and also something that is appropriate for the class. After these are filtered through, a random topic you understand is acceptable.
This applies to everyone because we all have been here and will be in the future. In the process of finishing high school and college we will have many times where we will need to pick a topic. Of course the main attitude of the student is to just get the paper done. But it takes these simple rules to be able to do it, with style. Everyone needs to know this knowledge of how to defeat writer’s block, and as I type this very profound paper people in even my own speech class are suffering from the painful task of finding a topic. The people need to be liberated from it. The people need to know. And that is why they all might be interested in my topic; my topic of how to pick a completely random topic for a completely random speech class assignment.
Also me and my friend caught (and accidentally killed) a fly. In our attempts to make him a "walk" (< a fly without wings) we damaged him beyond return. So my friend took the metal peice of the tip of a desk leg and rolled it over him. So later I wrote a poem about him. Ode to The Fly
Oh fly, oh fly
today you sigh
out of severe boredom
"But wait" you say
"I'll have fun today"
by bugging bored children
But in your attempt
You went and spent
and threw your life away
And now you see
that we have gotten thee
and plucked your wings away
Oh, thoughtless rebel
We've caught and severed
your hopes of a quick escape
And you've become
the center of our fun
and the center of our play
But an accident
of our attempts
and also the skills we lack
caused somehow
without a doubt
for us to make you go splat
Oh fly, oh fly
today you died
and entered another life phase
But the fly, you see
Is immortalized in poetry
and didn't die in vain |

Yeah...some days I'm like that...I just go on like a writing kick...and every day I write 1 to two songs...I love those times...they're fun! Quote:

| Bacon is off the stomach of the pig. And through science (genetic engineering) it's actually been healthier than what people think for about 30 years. Who'd a thought?
My day has been good today. I only wrote half of a song, but I tried to revise some others. I'm thinking about starting recording again (for the new songs). I also have to help do children's church tonight, and I get to play guitar for a church function (caroling) at nursing homes. It might sound disgusting but our church has been good in that way. |

| Pray for my recording situation, cause it just went down the drain ... My computer isn't able to hold the amount of sound I'm putting through it. Basically it can't handle the bit rate that my multi-effects pedal adds. So, basically what I end up with is a bunch of clipping and chunks out of the sound. The problem is the sound stinks without the pedal (the sound program's effects stink). I'm just going to have to do it at a studio or someplace that has better recording equipment. See, my old computer was able to record fine, but after it crashed (don't worry it wasn't viruses) and we got our new computer everything I put into it sounds horrible (it's just the recording part, the playback sounds fine) I'm just trusting God to lead me to the right opportunities to have me record at the right place.
Who knows? Maybe this could be a blessing in disquise ... (meaning I could put out a better quality demo cd) |

| "A Quite Shocking Experience" Ok, today has been weird!!! I had to set up for chapel again, and since the soundboard problem is still going on we had to try PC speakers... well, then the computer fries and won't put out any sound at all and I checked all the settings and everything should've have been alright... so then the principal told me to just get her CD player and bring it out for chapel...
And I walk in the room, turn on the light, and go to unplug the CD player...
And I have it already half way out and... I start getting shocked like crazy!!! I could feel the electricity run up my arm... what's even more weird is that I was not touching the metal tip of the plug. I saw it the electricity jump from off the surge protector to my hand... As you can guess my arm was going crazy too... I had it stuck there for a few seconds and I really felt weird!!! Ever since I started this journal my life has more crazy situations. |

No, the sixth graders didn't laugh. I really doubt if they even knew about it...
Let's put it this way... electricity and me don't really go well together... I've had really strange circumstances with me and old computers. (like, I touch it, and it blows a fuse) <-Thankfully that only lasted for a few months. |

| Hi !!! Today was good... kinda boring though...
The singing for the old folks went fine... I feel sorry for all of them. They have gone through so much.
I also did my very obvious speech today... to a bunch of zombies. That class is the deadest group of people I have ever been around!!! Only one person thought it was funny (besides me). Oh, well... |

I'm glad the singing went well...did the old folks enjoy it?
Don't feel bad...ingenious is sometimes never recognized. Well, at least one person liked it!

My class is dead... very dead... except today!!! Today the school is filled with the occasional teenage drama... (girl fights). For me and the rest of the guys in the class it's funny... Let's put it this way... one girl needs to get over stupid emo deelings... |
