Comet is 'a celestial surprise'

http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dw...1ded0c99d.html

"A comet that unexpectedly brightened in the last couple of weeks and is now visible to the naked eye is attracting professional and amateur interest."

This is pretty cool. I'll have to look for it tonight once it gets dark.

I'd go out and look tonight, but the wind is ferocious and it's partly cloudy. Nobody really knows just how long the comet will be visible in the same way that it's visible right now, though - I've seen guesses ranging from a week to 3 months in news articles and the like.

Supposedly it's in the direction of the constellation Perseus.
