| PIM suggestions I want to store all my contact information, but with a focus on personal rather than business contacts. I want to eb able to organize by categories of my life and attach notes and other pariphinalia (directories with photos, etc). I also want to be able to put in all my important numbers and details (like my credit cards and their numbers).
Outlook has some of this, but is inelegant. Any recommendations? |

| Well, I'm kinda digging using iSync to sync with Address book and iCal on my Mac, but I'm pretty sure you're a PC user.
I tried a couple PC PIM apps, but unfortunately of the ones I tried, Outlook is probably the best (I don't even remember what some of the others were called). |

I *could* get what I want to store done in notepad, but the point i snot to.
Also, who the heck has a >$1k PIM? I don't think you are referring to a real product (in single user license anyway). |

A bunch of notes in Outlook is no more useful than a bunch of txts in a directory.
I'm really hoping to find something that offers an improvement over that. |

I can likely accomplish what I want through the API, but I'm more likely to just build an app from scratch in C# if I'm going to go that way. |
