When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| If you leave a brief review an album in the Requests, try to make sure you leave your final review in the thread when the poll is up.
and i'm not sure if i can put up a poll when the album hasn't been released, i jsut asked and i'm waiting for a reply.
thanks
edit*
it won't go up until release date.
try to save your full reviews till then.

| ^ I see no way this album will please anyone who hasn't liked them before. But it should please those who are already fans.
Believe it or not, my full review for Sputnik is already done. Just have to wait another day to submit it. I'm giving it the same rating as the Triptych.
edit: Also, does anyone notice Ryan's growls in the pre-chorus of "Sixteen" sound almost exactly like a certain other Christian metal vocalist? (his name starts with a "B".....)

| Bruce Fitzgugh of Living Sacrifice. (Oddly enough, the band whose void in Christian metal DH has said they want to fill. Also odd because part of an email I sent the band said they should have him as a guest vocalist)
Now that I think about it, he doesn't sound almost exactly like him but fairly close.

I'm not quite sure what youre saying here (bold). I just looked and on a website that is selling the CD, it said that Bruce is featured in the song "Sixteen," so i guess it is Bruce, not Ryan.

| There's a few songs I enjoy more than the others. A good album for Demon Hunter fans. Nothing really special about this album except that everything is faster paced. Thumbs up for that. |

My review would really stupid if I mentioned it sounds like Bruce and it really is him. It'd be awesome either way, because my email to them suggested that.
Ryan and Don Clark have stated in interviews that after Living Sacrifice (finished/broke up/retired whatever), they felt there (were) no really good metal bands that Christian music fans can enjoy, so they want to be that band.
The biography on their Myspace used to say something to that effect.
