Any dancers???

i took hip-hop for a year, but then we ran out of money for lessons

:ksad: i want to try and take up either ballet or lyrical tho.

hey, I take classical and modern ballet! I've been dancing since I was little, and really love it.

My dance odyssey is interesting--I started dancing when Iwas little, stopped for a year ( so I was a year behind everyone my age group), started again, and kept goign. then I skipped a level because of scheduling conflicts, and I went from being the best in the class to THE worst. I was always a misfit in class. Never had any friends. The teacher was okay. Very very tough, to the point of pain. I elected not to do pointe because of a scheduling conflict (with harp ensemble), and have never gone back because even though I would LOVE to do pointe, I have no desire to get stuck in with a class of little kids. So I took a year off again, then came back for a year, then took a half a year off and changed studios.

Which brings me up to today--With a new studio this year, and enjoying it more than I have for years. I get along much better with the other dancers then I did at my old studio.

In the future, I'dlike to take hip-hop and/or Irish dancing.

If you consider jumpin around/head banging to hard rock, dancing...then yes, I dance all the time.

I Danced for 7 years but had to leave because of a knee
injory- among other things-
I still dance ( when im alone) and love it.!

Why do you girls dance in front of guys and let yourselves be objectified like that? To pay for school? Because you get handed dollar-bills? I respect you all so much and am so saddened you're doing this!

I wanna learn how to dance soo bad!! The only dancing I ever do is in my room with the door shut and the blinds closed. My room is so small though. I come kinda close to hurting myself sometimes. It's a great way to worship. I want to learn how to do lots of different stuff. Ballet, ballroom, salsa, hip-hop, you name it.

hey-
i'm a dancer and have been for 13 years. i take tap, ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. i love every min. of it. plus i teach teach at the studio i take at too!!! it's my passion. i hope you will have fun and learn to make it your passion too!!!!!

I've been dancing since I was four. Unfourtunately, due to money concerns, I had to quit when I was ten, but now I'm on my high school's Varsity Pom and Dance team and it is the most fun thing I have ever done. I love to dance, especially jazz and hip hop. Just wanted to share, that's all.
