| CGR Fantasy Basketball 2007-08 Here is the thread to discuss the current fantasy basketball season, in progress now.
I am doing my best to not be the Yankees of CGR Fantasy Basketball. i.e. I get many of the really good players, yet fall short come playoff time. It's happened the last 2 years. |

| Well, I'm off to an interesting start. Okur had a horribe game, but Deron Wiliams was great. I just realized that I only get to play Matt 2 times this year because of the schedule...interesting. I get Benny & most everyone else 3 times. It should be a fun season! |

| I am off to a nice start. Iverson playing the point is a nice thing for me fantasy wise, he'll have a much better chance of racking up assists, like he did Wednesdau. Big Z went for 17 and 18. Once J-Ho and Artest are playing things will be better. |

| Well, a sad start to defending my title. I got beat 2-6. At least most of the category's were fairly close. It's a long season though. |

| Well, I salvaged that week. Broadmoor gave me a scare. I could have so easily swept that week considering how close the 3 last cats were... anyway.
For everyone's information, Tyrus Thomas, Monta Ellis, and Troy Murphy are all on the trading block. I want a good 3-pt shooter with good %'s in return for 1 or 2 of them. |

| Well I'm taking on my arch-nemesis this week... Benny... sorry Wesley, I know you won last year, but you are not the person to eliminate my team (when finishing the season #1) in 2 straight years from the playoffs.
How about the game Chris Paul had last night? 19 pts, 21 ast, 3 stl...
Or Josh Smith? 18 pts, 7 reb, 6 ast, 5 stl, 4 blk, 2 3's...
I'm still looking for another top 3-pt. shooter...
Monta Ellis (who btw went off for 22 pts, 6 rebs, 3 3's, 3 stl, and 2 blk last night), Tyrus Thomas, and Tim Thomas are all available...
Just don't come asking for Pau or Boozer unless you're offering a C in return, because they're my only 2 centers... |

| We've got the 1st trade of the season....between me & Gruvatron. Lamar Odom for Boris Diaw straight up.
Deron Williams ( 3 treys, 26 pts, 2 rebs, 5 asts,1stl ), Luol Deng, (22 pts, 8 rebs, 2 asts, 3 stls, 2 blks), Dwight Howard, (28 pts, 16 rebs, 1 stl, 1 blk) and Al Jefferson (25 pts, 10 rebs, 1 blk, 1 stl) are all off to great starts. They've had more than one good game. I just need to do a bit of shuffling to get some role players to fill the gaps.
Felton went down last night, I hope it's not serious. |

| Prior to the trade and after adding Haywood, I officially had 7 centers on my roster. Now I have six, and am very open to trades for pretty much any other position that can offer comparable value.
I'm glad someone noticed Damien Wilkins too, he should put up solid value this season.

Yeah, I couldn't pass up on Wilkins after the start that he's had. If he keeps up even close to the stats that he has right now, that'll be huge for me.
Ok, after intense Negotiations we've got another trade...this time with Matt.
Mike Miller + Kyle Korver
for
Stephon Marbury + Tyrus Thomas + Monta Ellis
Now I've got 5 C's and 5 PG's. Sorry to give Matt a boost in 3's, but I need assists if Felton's going to be down.

| I have a question. Does your starting roster count for a whole week or just 1 day?

Andrea Bargnani is NOT for trade. I drafted him with my first pick for a reason. Please quit offering. |
