Williams might not be too bad, not so sure about the other three. | Williams will only get better, I know that much. Tyron Lue is largely responsible for the Lakers' domination of the 76ers back in.... 01? Whenever that was. Lue guarded Iverson all 5 games like his life depended on it. But he may be getting old. |

| I am in shock of this trade. My current favorite player on my favorite team being Bibby, of course. Sheldon Williams is a nice pickup, but the Kings already have too many forwards. Tyronn Lue is a throw in, and I think he'll ride the bench plenty. Anthony Johnson might start, but Beno Udrih has been really solid as a starter for the Kings this year (when Bibby was hurt.) Wow. I just don't know what to say. This sucks. |

Although, I did like the cupcake from Gerald Green. |

Yeah. the "birthday cake" was the most innovative dunk of the night for sure. But Howard killed it. Straight killed it.
I think it's safe to say the dunk contest is actually worth watching again. |

I'm pissed. What are the Kings thinking??!! Why the hell do you get rid of Bibby? This makes NO sense. Somebody needs to knock the Maloofs upside their heads. I am feeling nothing but anger right now. I am disgusted.

Dwight Howard was at least as innovative and on four dunks! The birthday cake dunk was good, but I wouldn't go so dar as to say most innovative, for me I think I'd probably take Howard's new "reverse" dunk from behind the backboard. |

| Well it looks like the Kidd deal is on again. The mavs switched Trenton Hassell and Keith Van Horn for Stackhouse and George. Appears to be a good solution to me. I just think Kidd is the last piece to put them over the top.

First of all, they drafted poorly. They recognize this. Second, they are in contention for a playoff spot this year, and that is a VERY big deal for this franchise. Getting Mike Bibby, in my opinion, easily puts them over the top. They got a big, exciting name that puts butts in the seats.
As for the Kings, they got Sheldon Williams, who they will try to turn into a good forward, plus three expiring contracts, and freed up a bunch of cap room. If they can turn it into something, great. Otherwise, this sucks. |

| Kobe being out for the West made all the difference, methinks.
The Pistons in the game did a whole of nothing. Allen, James, Howard...these are the heroes of the East. Dun dun dun.

I don't think I'll even comment on the Kings trade, nothing they've done in the last 5 years makes any sense to me.
There are now a few interesting power teams. Lakers, Mavs, Suns, Spurs should all be very tough in the west, along with a couple teams to watch in the playoffs such as Utah. Will be tough as usual. In the East it seems to be shaping up as a battle between Boston & Detroit, with a couple other teams like Orlando hoping to be spoilers. Should be a fun playoff season (and run up to it). |
