RIGHTEOUS! RIGHTEOUS!!

Man, oh, man. Rawr. That was terrible. Just terrible. I felt a tiny twinge of pity for the Lakers toward the end.

I never would have thought it. I'm sure he provided excellent moral support while he sat on the bench. Now if he would stop dying his beard...he looks like a World of Warcraft character every time I see him.

I have to say, Boston gave me reason to believe they would fail early on in the playoffs, but when they finally made it to the big dance....something clicked. They went nuts.

Well, I am certainly dissapointed in the outcome of the Finals, but I enjoyed watching the Celtics afterwards, especially KG falling apart and losing his mind at the end there.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving team.

Hopefully they'll at least do better than the '04 Olympics and '06 Worlds (3rd in both).

The '04 team had:
# Centers: Tim Duncan, Emeka Okafor
# Forwards: Carmelo Anthony, Carlos Boozer, Richard Jefferson, Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire, LeBron James
# Guards: Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury, Dwyane Wade

The '06 team had:
4 Guard Joe Johnson
5 Guard Kirk Hinrich
6 Forward LeBron James
7 Forward Antawn Jamison
8 Forward Shane Battier
9 Guard Dwyane Wade
10 Guard Chris Paul
11 Center Chris Bosh
12 Center Dwight Howard
13 Center Brad Miller
14 Forward Elton Brand
15 Forward Carmelo Anthony

From what I've seen, there is some concern that the '08 Olympic team is undersized (only three big men on the whole squad) and that could cause problems against teams like Russia and Lithuania that have more big men and may be able to dominate in the paint and get more second chance opportunities.

That being said, supposedly Coach K has been trying to teach these guys how to play international basketball. They have good shooters (which they didn't have in '04) and if they can play well as a team, they should do well.
