I've read when I was a little kid that the size of an iceberg is like a thousand times larger than its peak on the surface of water. It's so easy for us to stay on the surface and look at an iceberg and think, that's how big it is. It is hard to imagine just how big it is in the depths of the sea. And sometimes that's the way we see God. When our relationship with God is shallow, we just look at the peak and say, that's how powerful God is, that's how much God loves us, and it doesn't seem that much. But the truth is that there's so much more when you dive into the water and go deeper. Like my signature verse says, God says He will be found by us when we seek Him. And I can tell you that God is bigger than an iceberg, much bigger. An iceberg has a finite size, but there is no end to God's infinite wisdom, knowledge, power, and love. And that means we can always go little bit deeper in God. Just when we think we have pretty much figured God out, He humbles us and shows us a whole new dimention of Him.
*I had written "an iceberg has an infinite size" by mistake, so I corrected it.*
