1. What made you decide to place the H20 between the Rt. 66 and J&H? I realize that you have multiple delays on the board, so perhaps you like the variety, but how does the delay sound with the J&H engaged?
2. You have 3 delay pedals, the H20 (which I realize does chorus as well), the Echo Park, and the DL4, as well as a verbzilla which can do a lot of ambient stuff. How do you get the most out of each of these? What do you use each for and what will the DD-20 do for you that the three of these won't?
3. Have you ever tried the VP after your OD?
4. What are you using as far as an amp?
cool, that's it for now, just curious.

cool, that's it for now, just curious. | AHH ITS COOL, i knew someone would ask me why i have it set up that way..
1. I NEVER(NEVER) use the Echo on the H20... it sounds ok and all but i have that pedal there for Comfort. I never use the Chours Before the J&H.... I have the Jekyll Set for a BOOST for the first Overdrive.. On the Route 66.. The Hyde Is for my Grungeish side when im bored.. Im mostly U2 Style.. The Delays Running After the J&H sound Fine..
2.Why do i have 3 Delay pedals..Echo on the H20 as i stated could be taken off and i wouldnt care. My Echo Park Has the Dotted 8th Setting and It never leaves that setting.. The DL-4 is my Looper and Other Delays(analog, Tape, ping pong, reverse) So i really do get the most out of the EchoPark and the DL-4... I would be getting the DD20 for the fact i can enter the BPM.. in with a number i can see and I like the Twist button.. really i just like DD20 it self.. it would get alot of use if i owned it
3. Ive never tried it.. Mostlikely wont.. I have it that way because of the EASY of my FEET I run the Vox and the Volume Pedal side by side.. So yea.. I guess i jsut like it that way... it works for me
4. Amp 1-Vox AD50.. With Channel 1 set as "Clean" with a Tremolo as the Effect and Channel Two as the AC30TB style amp with a Flange ..
Amp 2- Fender Princeton Chorus- REALLY GOOD LOW ENDDDD
Most of the Time its Set on the AD50 with The Clean Channel..
Ive got this one song where i run both amps.. AD50 with the TREMOLO and the Fender Princeton Chorus just STRIGHT BOOMIN Sounds Tight

| Two Eternity pedals! I'm guessing you don't bother with the HRDvl's od channels with that many drives on your board? |

I like it but my amp sits behind a door about 25 feet away from me so it's one more long cable I have to run, one more volume I have to get just perfect. I'll probably kick one of the OD pedals at some point, they all sound so different, even the two eternity clones don't sound anything alike since the chip is different. I'm still trying to figure out which ones I like |

| Depends.
In church where I lead worship, it's any one of my eight electrics -> Digitech GNX3000 (generally the Fender Twin clean setting with the ability to add a distortion pedal) -> my SB Nichols boost pedal -> the PA - very, very simple.
With my band and with my friend's group that I play with on occasion, any one of my eight electrics -> my Digitech GNX3000 -> my SB Nichols boost pedal -> my new US Masters TVA30 tube amp through the effects loop, mic'd into the PA. Again, very simple, except I use about five amp presets that are Fender and Marshall models played through the clean channel of the amp. Sometimes, I'll switch to the gain channel of the amp, but usually turn off any distortion effects on the Digitech. I use the Digitech's wah, tremolo and delay settings depending on the song and mood that we're trying to establish. I have an acoustic setting that I use for one country type song. Here are pictures of my guitars, my board and the amp: Quote:

For years, I gassed for a Vetta II, but it was just too heavy and expensive with the full board (secretly, I still do).

what line 6 delay you got? | Sometimes good gear is not love at first sound. My James Burton Tele was like that. It took me months to realize how good it was, especially with the EMG's. I play with a friend who has the GT-8 and it sounds great. |

But if you ever get the chance to hear someone that can actually play and has had it for a while, the GT-8 is a phenomenal pedal. |

lol burned.
And +1 on that love at first sound thing. I thought I would never use the S-1 switch on my strat that puts the pickups in series, it sounded horrible. I use it all the time now for certain effects and I'm really glad I have it. Same thing with an OD I built, it sounded too muddy but then I learned how to use it and there are some things it just does better than anything else. |
