It was really great to me. The years have passed, however, and I have read every book (possibly many times). It has thus lost its appeal.

I'm still young so I like it. And it also gives me good ideas for pranks

Close, but Dilbert owns them all.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.

Calvin & Hobbes rocks. I had all the books at one point. I believe there's more collections out now, though.

For modern-era print comics, Bill Watterson is probably the best, yeah.

He faces stiff competition if you introduce webcomics or print comics from the golden age, though.

I have the hardcover Complete Calvin and Hobbes strip. Easily the best comic strip on the face of the planet. LOL, I just realized that my avatar is C+H! I put that one on a long time ago because I couldn't think of anything better, but yeah, Calvin and Hobbes is amazing. I'm of the minority that likes Hobbes the best...his facial expressions to Calvin's statements are priceless.

Calvin and Hobbes was hilarious. But I think that The Far Side is even better. Closely followed by Dilbert. Calvin and Hobbes was funny for a book or two but then it started to get boring.

My personal fave is the full page one in "Revenge of the Babysat" where Calvin is wishing for snow, pleading with God in every way possible until finally he presents his ultimatum "DO YOU WANT ME TO BECOME AN ATHEIST!??!"

Calvin and Hobbes rock, but they are my #2.

Berke Breathed's tales of Opus and Bill the Cat are my all-time favorites.

Calvin and Hobbes would be my #2 strip...right behind classic Bloom County.
