mainstream bands I've seen live:

Chiodos
Escape The Fate
Every Avenue
Forever The Sickest Kids
Meg and Dia (good lookin girls lol)
The Secret Handshake
Anti-Flag (not by my choice, but they were good lol)
Bouncing Souls (not by my choice, my friends and I were fleeing the rain at warped)
some of All Time Low's set (big mistake)
Ludo
This Providence (they are Christians, but not a Christian band anymore)
Zu Polar (my friend's band)
The Last Troubadour (my best friend's band)
Mayors of Super Awesome Town (opened for Zu Polar and The Last Troubadour)
Chester French (opened for Blink 182, P!TD, and FOB. worst band ever)
Panic! at the Disco
Fall Out Boy
Blink 182...yes, THE Blink 182!
Bob Dylan (such an honor!)

at the end of the month I'll be seeing All That Remains and Story of the Year, with two awesome Christian bands The Devil Wears Prada and Haste The Day.

thats all I can think of now. I'm sure there are more, and thats only mainstream!

I definitely would not call The Bouncing Souls and Anti-Flag mainstream, those a core punk rock bands that have spend their careers avoiding the mainstream and bashing the mainstream world. (though Anti-Flag came pretty dang close with their worst album of all time, Bright Lights of America)
Heres some more

Bad Religion
Against Me!
Underoath (three times)
Rise Against (twice)
Comeback Kid
Anti-Flag
Strike Anywhere
Carpenter
Taking Back Sunday
Hawthorne Heights
Halifax
Holy Roman Empire
Japanther (probably the most unique thing i’ve been to, highly recommend them)
Saint Alvia (I hate this band and unfortunately i’ve seen them twice)
Flatliners
Armor For Sleep
Moneen
He Is Legend
Silverstein (three times, and not once did I go to see them)
Alexisonfire
The Bled
Saosin
Stereotrap (twice)
Tuxedo Mask
Threadline
Munro
Blue Man Group
The Devil Wears Prada (twice)
Protest The Hero
Street Dogs
GBH
Human Abstract
The Briggs
Evergreen Terrace
All That Remains
Shanti
The Bronx (twice)
Angels and Airwaves
Oreskaband
Relient K
Norma Jean (twice)
Good Guys In Black
Bring Me The Horizon
Horrorpops
Every Time I Die
Means
IllScarlet
Horizons
Radio For Help (they sucked)
Neil Young
Everest
InnerPartySystem
Rancid
Riverboat Gamblers
Social Distortion
Civet
The Strangers
The Bouncing Souls
Youth Brigade
Off With Their Heads
Propagandhi
DFA
The Rebel Spell

They were, for For Blood And Empire and Bright Lights of America. They made a two album deal with RCA which meant that RCA couldn't have any say in what they did with the music, they were basically there for promotion (I know, stupid, and I will never forgive Anti-Flag).
And yes I am aware that Anti-Flag's music has appeared on video games, but I still stand my stance declaring that they are not mainstream. With the exception of BLOF (I swear they compromised their sound on that record).
Their newest album The People of The Gun was released on SideOneDummy.
Once again, lyrically they are the farthest thing from any mainstream crap.
