Exclamation The BEST Acoustic Worship Songs... Ever!

Hey Everyone!

I realized that there are a couple of threads talking about this, but I think it would be good to compile a list of AWESOME ACOUSTIC WORSHIP songs.

So when you reply, make sure your just adding songs and your comments on those songs, let's try to get a good list going.

Acoustic:

I would define acoustic as anything that you can do UN-Plugged. For example, acoustic guitar with hand percussion and upright bass. Or maybe just guitars, or maybe just piano. Things like that.

+ So go ahead, add your favorite acoustic worship songs, the ones that have just gone great!

J.J.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

Draw Me Close - PHENOMENAL with tight harmonies and with the guitar finger picked!
Open The Eyes of My Heart Lord - Great for a high energy song
Yearn - By Shane and Shane, one of the best, EVER!
We Fall Down - Love this song! Very moving if done right.

Amazed (Anderson)
His Strength is Perfect (Chapman)
He Knows My Name (Walker)
The Heart of Worship (Redmand)
Find Me in the River (Delirious?)
Here I am to Worship (Hughes)
Rescue (Moen)
There is None Like You: Start soft and modulate up 1/2 step for repeat

I apologize if any of the artists are wrong... I do our early service with accoustic guitar, so I'm sure most songs can be done if worked out.

I still can't make choices on this since I practice every song on acoustic...

the Hillsong Chapel cd has some really cool versions of some of their big songs that are really low key/acoustic. great ideas for stripped down arrangements of songs that are normally huge.

Anyway... I'll go first.

Jeremy Camp- Give me Jesus.
