Golf question

This has been on my brain for a while now, and I haven't been able to find anything about it, but anyway. What do TC and SM stand for? I was watching the PGA Tour, and they had those letters beside their name and strokes and whatever.

Cheers.

From a lot of googling I've been able to figure out that C and SM are used to differentiate courses in a tournament. For example, the current Frys.com Open is held in Las Vegas on two courses (Canyons and Summerlin). In this example the TC is Canyons and the SM is Summerlin.

Oh, seriously?

Wow, that's the last thing I would have thought it to mean. Thanks for that.
