Nope. Hahaha

I would urge you to avoid all spoilers and reviews and just be surprised while sitting in the theater.

Star Trek currently has a 100% on the Tomato-Meter with 22 positive reviews and 0 negative. I'm going to be very sad if Wolverine out-grosses Star Trek.

I suspect this film will be extreme good for Chris Pine's career.

Xmen was enjoyable, but not re-watchable.

I just got home from seeing this movie. Before I give my opinion on it, let me first say that I am a huge Trekkie. I can tell you how a warp drive operates. I can tell you the physics behind transporters. I could describe every difference between phasers and disruptors. I can speak a tiny bit of Klingon.

Now that that is out of the way,

This movie was completely and utterly awesome. I would see it again and again and again, and as much of a pirate as I am, I will most certainly be buying it when it comes to DVD.

*SPOILERS* I can see this being a series reboot. Being that it does take place in an alternate timeline,*/SPOILERs* I would very much enjoy seeing a season of this. Or even another movie. I don't know.

I am so pleased right now. So absolutely pleased.

As of right now it has a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 91% from Top Critics. As of right now it is the best reviewed wide release of 2009 and the best reviewed Star Trek film.

*SPOILERs*
So, now that I've seen it, on the one hand, I enjoyed it, thought it was a great movie with great actors, story, and effect. On the other hand, I sorta feel like they cheated and tore my childhood away by essentially saying that all previous Star Trek shows portrayed a universe that never was and never will be.

The only big problem I had was with the ending. Was there another jump forward? Because it seemed like a big leap to me to make a cadet on academic probation automatically the captain of a starship, even if he did just save the world.

I saw it today and I thought it was really good. Best movie I've seen for awhile.

I can't really say anything else except that I thought it was weird that Kirk has a twin sister who was hidden away as a Princess on some other planet to keep her secret from their evil father... Not. But I bet those of you who haven't seen the movie thought this was going to be a spoiler at first.

I couldn't believe that the last scene of the movie was Leonard Nimoy sitting at a type writer writing his version of Star Trek. It was so unexpectedly brilliant!!!

I just got back from the movie and thought it was absolutely fantastic. I couldn't believe how great a job Karl Urban did playing Bones. He was priceless. "Are you out of your Vulcan mind??!"

SPOILER ALERT
I liked the part where the somali pirates hijacked the ship.

Oh yes, I forgot about that part. It was my favorite.

The only Star Trek I've seen are a handful of TNG and DS9 episodes and let me say I loved this movie! I feel like exploring the Star Trek universe now! Also I think George Lucas should have let J.J. Abrams do the Star Wars prequels... that man is absolutely amazing!

Knowing next to nothing about the Star Trek universe aside from a few character names, a few choice lines, and having seen Wrath of Khan, I seriously loved this. This was much, much better than the Wolverine movie.

As Sean said, I definitely believe Chris Pine's career is going to skyrocket after this, as he did a fantastic job as Kirk. Zachary Quinto made for a great Spock, Karl Urban was awesome as Bones, and Simon Pegg was absolutely brilliant as Scotty. The story was really good, and the action scenes were terrific.

I can't wait for the upcoming sequels, so long as Abrams and the cast keeps them as good as this one was(apparently, a second one is already being written and a third one is already being planned).

Did anyone else love the scenes where they cut to space and it was quiet? This was one of the first movies i've seen that did that accurately!
