AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! CANT REMEMBER!!!!

I've been trying for days to try to get this stupid little box up. I don't remember what it was, but you got to it using the run box. It had something to do with the graphics, and I know there was a bunch of checkboxes, and one of them was "dv=0" I know i'm not being very descriptive, but I can't find it anywhere and I'm really desperate.

the website I found, said to type msconfig into the run box, then go to the win.ini tab, then expand the drawdib box, then the dv=o box would be there. Unfortunately, this only works for win 98 or ME, but it doesn't seem to exist with XP.

There is msconfig in XP. I would caution you to make sure you are absolutely sure what you are doing be for messing with anything in msconfig.

What are you trying to do with your computer? What does "dv=0" do for your computer?

You can control most of the graphic settings if you right click on the desktop, select properties and select the "settings" tab and select "advance".

OOPS. I meant dvA=0 not dv=0. Sorry. Yes msconfig exists in xp, but the drawdib box does not. One of my games, wouldnt run on our Win 98 comp, so I found this solution, that had you unchecking the dva=0 box. I accidently set the graphics settings to high on the computer running xp, because I got the same error message as I did on the 98 one. I thought this would solve it. Thankfully, I was able to start it in safe mode, and then set the graphics properties down again.
