This is a slight bump, but I just picked up a copy of Grimm's Grimmest. It's a collection of some of the more grotesque tales from their collection. I'm loving it, plus it has some great illustrations.

I really love Grimm's original Cinderella. And Anderson's original The Little Mermaid.

Both are pretty morbid. Grimm's tales are sometimes horrific. Like...The Day The Children Played Butcher, or something along those lines.

I got a thrift copy, but they are still publishing it. Any major bookstore should have it, or if not, at least be able to order it for you.
