I still love SAS just as much to be honest, but this is more advanced musically I think. I surpirsed myself when all the clean vocals didnt bother me, I love them.
I just really love this album, This Is Who We Are is practically an anthem.

| I love the Cd because its really fast paced and entergetic. the intros are great
i really dont like the bassists vocals though, josh gilbert. I mean theyre decent but I dont like them as much as the previous singing they had
and some of their parts sounds exreemly Destroy The Runner-ish (a solid state band that basicly rips AILD off). so that was kindof disapointing in a way. Ex. "The SOund of Truth" song title is probably inspired by the DTR song "The Sound of Reason" and is actually the most DTRish track on the cd.
but yeah....Cd still owns cookies |

| Tim sings on this one too, on songs like Forsaken and This Is Who We Are, I'm pretty sure anyway.

| If you know my taste in metal you should know I hate saying this, but most of the singing on this was annoying for me (save "Nothing Left").
Never thought I'd be complaining about singing, but I am.
Other than that, good music.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

Other than that, good music. | I thought the cleans on the title track were amazing...and most of them I thought were much more ranged than the last cd's cleans...
And, just for the record, the last bassist wasn't the guys who sang on SAS. It was just a friend they had come in and do the clean vocals for them. Yeah. Read that in a blog somewhere.... |
