#1 | | *no catchy title* | Spider-Man: A misunderstood hero Most people don't like Spidey because he's different! But my question is isn't different good? Because without "different" there is no average! He's also different cuz' of his story line is unheard of, and I think he's cool cause of his villans. I buy some o' his comics just for the villans! So far I have issues Amazing Spider-man #'s 217, 248, 251, 297, 313, 317, 332, 333, 346, 347, 361-365, 368-370 and 374. I also have Spectacular spider-man issue 2 Vol. 1.
Along with Spider-man issue 1 and Web of Spider-man #1 and 90. so as you see I love Spider-man. This is also a Poll on how much you like Spidey rating him 1-10 (10 a whole lot, 1 not at all.)

| I believe you have a twisted view on the popularity of Spider-Man. You're talking about a character with three very high-grossing movies, several ongoing comic series, and a legion of devoted fans. Most people do like Spider-Man. |

| I think that spider-man is depressing.
Everything goes wrong for him, and getting divorced is not setting a good example. I voted 1. |

Not methodical enough, I guess. | Yeah, I really don't care for him either. But he is majorly popular. I liked the comics better when they played up both the fact that he is a genius and the fact that he had pretty cool superpowers. But when they switched him just to brawn and agility and little brainwork involved I drifted away. |

Of the current generation of comic book movies, the Spiderman series has been the most successful by a lot. If you use box office draw as the measure of popularity in the mainstream, then Spiderman is the MOST liked superhero. |

Everything goes wrong for him | That's called drama. You don't have much of a story if things don't go wrong. Quote: |

| If you rate Spiderman a 1 for getting divorced, you'd have to go into some serious negative numbers to rate "The Boys." |

#11 | | Banned | I can see how you interpreted his comment as being rude, but he wasn't doing so. You did seem to indicate a perspective on spider-man's popularity which was contrary to the truth. I'm sorry that it seemed rude. But yeah, there are a whole bunch of people who like Spider-man too. |

Which he could have. *ahem*
He answered in a very civilized way, and made excellent use of his vocabulary.
Okay, fine, I'll take out the "pansy" part. But I mean, he's got a yu-gi-oh avatar...

Quit being a pansy. | Now that, on the other hand, is an excellent example of rudeness. Sorry er... Pookie... |

Quit being a pansy. | That's unnecessary, mate. I can defend myself, thank you very much. Quote: |
