| Random Ramblings on Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Chocolate 'Ello, everyone! I'm not too worried about what I'm writing in here or how critically acclaimed this journal may be, cause I doubt too many people look here in the "Q" section.
My (user)name's Queen Vic, and there is a long story behind how that name came to be. Because, you see....
my name is not Victoria, or Vic, or Vicky.
*dramatic music plays, gasps*
But I do think it's quite fun to go by a different name, so I'll continue to sign all my posts as Vic. You ready for the long story? It goes something like this: I was at Disneyland with my cousins (4of5Rocker and Pookey42) late this summer, and when 4of5 called his older brother (who was at home, poor guy), I got to talk to him. He asked who was talking, and I said the Queen of England. Ha ha ha. Later, when 4of5 was on his cell phone AGAIN texting older bro, I told him to say something like "The Dutchess says hello". He was like, "What is it with you and British royalty?" But he still texted him saying, "Queen Vic says hi." So that's how my username came about.
Since this is a journal, I guess I better talk about what's going on in my life.
Thinking....thinking....thinking....well, I guess I have a cold. It's not fun. And yesterday was the first day of fall!! YAY! I love fall: cold, crisp weather (but still some sunshine), pumpkin pie, leaves turning color, pumpkin pie, Thanksgiving, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin pie. Did I mention pumpkin pie?
Last night was my second night of Jr. High/High School Awana as an eighth grader. It was fun, except dodgeball would've been more exciting if guys and girls vs. guys and girls, instead of girls vs. girls and guys vs. guys. But dinner was good. Chicken, quaesadillas (sp?), and PUMPKIN PIE!!!!! Other highlights: a puppet skit rehearsal that was pretty funny (Puppet #1: And God called the light day, and the darkness-- Puppet #2: POWER OUTAGE!), and I got to grill one of my friends about the dangers of eating an M and M that had been on the floor for who-knows-how-long. He ate it anyway.
I'll be interested to see how many people reply to this; probably not many. But if you do, THANKS!
With all tangible sincerity,
Vic |

No disappointment greater than when you're expecting a normal, happy tasting bite of pie, and instead your mouth is filled with a horrible, sour mush?
Sorry, I'm still a little bitter about that pie and needed to share it with someone. Quote:

And Emii, sorry about you not being the first to post ( ), but just remember: God will help you through this hard time.
And don't worry, I am learning at Awana.
Well, it's 7:56 AM here, and I don't feel particularly well (stupid cold), yet I still feel like "God's in His heaven, all's right with the world'. Maybe that's just my personality. Anyway, I'll come on later and post stuff about stuff I've actually done during the day...
Cheerio,
Vic |

| Ahhh, good friend RK_Lover FINALLY notices I have a journal! Ha ha, no offense or anything... You guys on the cheap post thread are hard to keep up with.
Better journal on. Nothing much happened today; didn't go anywhere except for a quick walk around neighborhood (where fortunately no maniac dogs ran out in the street and freaked my sister out). Did school, practiced piano, read. Stuff like that.
Since nothing exciting ever really happens in my life, maybe I should think of something else to put in here. Thoughts on random aspects of life? A serialized story like back in Charles Dickens' day? Hmmm. Will think on it.
G'night everyone, in case no one replies to this till the morn (Pacific Time morn, that is).
"Good night, parting is such sweet sorrow!"

Vic | I have to disagree with the boring life thing.
"The flowers are always prettier on the other side of the Sahara!"
Hehe, that's probably not your case, but I felt like saying it. One's life may seem more interesting to a person than one thinks. Like mine for example!
How is school going? |

| Wed., 26th September Ahhh, what a glorious fall day. No rain so far here in the ole Northwest. Actually, I found out a while ago that New York gets more rain than Washington. Hmmm...
Again, not much of a day. School, lunch, a little more school, talking with best friend on phone for nearly an hour, and now CGR. Thank goodness I actually have something to look forward to tonight: i2i Jr. High small groups!!! YAYYYY!!! It's basically a youth group kind of thing; pretty much all my friends go to it, so it's fun. It's See You At The Pole tonight, wonder if we're doing anything special...
Contrary to Emii's belief, my life CAN get a bit boring sometimes, so I think I am going to do something. I am going to get a dictionary, open it to a random page, and write a few sentences on the word I see. (That sounds like a school assignment) Here we go... Sedate Can be a verb or an adjective. 1. Dignified and composed. 2. To treat with a sedative.
Hm, I always thought of it as number 2. In fact, I never thought of it as a verb at all. Okay, that's a couple sentences.
I'll think of something interesting to write. Till then,
Cheerio.

i2i Jr High sounds fun!
Talking to your best friend on the phone for almost an hour 0.o That reminds me I need to call my sugar-sweet-honey-bunches-of-oats this weekend. *Sighs* So close, but yet oh so far away...
No comment on the boring thing... You're only bored if you let yourself be.... (Bad Emii! You said no commenting!)
Ciao for now! Emii |

| Oh yeah, it's Thursday night. Today (as most other days have been for a while) seems to have lacked any real purpose. School, walk around neighborhood, a bit of writing (ok, there's some) and eating. I feel like a couch potato. Maybe I should get into some sports or something. Maybe not. (cause me + any type of sport that involves running, catching, hitting, or throwing = )
Well. Last night was small groups, we were GOING to go to a local church and do See You At The Pole, but there was a big mix-up and we didn't go. It would've been fun. Instead, we got to lie on the floor and draw our feelings on butcher paper. I got lots of compliments on the tree I drew.
"It was a dark and stormy night. And the captain said, 'Sergeant, tell the men a story.'"
Should I continue???
Ta-ta for now,
Vic |

| Alright! My story, back by popular demand...
"So the sergeant said, 'All right, I'll tell them a story: It was a dark and stormy night, and the captain said "Sergeant, tell the men a story". So the captain said, "All right, I'll tell them a story: It was a dark and stormy night..." |
