Also trying to stone us/burn us at the stake doesn't usually work so well either. We will react more favourably to you if you don't come running at us with a torch in one hand and a rope in the other

I think it also depends on the person. I've seen maybe people who have been raised Catholic, but only go to church on Easter and Christmas and genuinely hate it and don't care about religion at all. So I guess you just have to be careful depending on who the person is.

What's the difference between Catholic and Protestant? I'd like to offer my opinion but I need to know what seperates them.

Are you looking for a history lesson or theological distinctives? Do you not know what they are?

I wanted to hear theological differences. That's what you have to consider if you're going to marry someone, right?

Neither does trying to hold inquisitions to stomp out Protestant heresy. So, now that we've agreed to treat each other like human beings...

Seriously, though, like Noelle said, I know quite a few mixed couples where one is Catholic and the other Protestant. It just requires you to accept what you have in common, and not fuss over differences.
