New Kids In The Way

KITW has their entire new cd up on purevolume if anyone's interested. I listened to some of it...surprisingly pop...ish. I'm not sure I like it that much right now...I always like the Kids' sorta grungy rock/punk sound. Hopefully it'll grow on me.

I didn't like the album at first but then it grew on me. I like the change and am glad they put Fiction on the album.

The only song I've heard so far are 'Your Demon' and 'Fiction', and I really liked those two. So as far as style goes, I'm really liking the direction the're going in.

I bought the album today. Awesome. The best songs are Letting Go, My Little Nightmare, Sugar, and Farewell. But they are all good, not one that I would skip.

That's because the new cd sucked.

I couldn't find any announcments about this...but Kids in The way are notoriously lax about posting crap anywhere about anything.

my bad, my friend told me he was reading his "thanks" section of the new Spoken CD, and it read . . . Kids In The Way (R.I.P) . . . so, that says they are done, but who knows.

They might be on their way out. It's very possible.

Spoken's been around forever, though.

Well, they're not dead.

They're just pathetic about myspace....they don't list shows and they log in once every two weeks or so.

I don't like, love myspace or anything...but it's a band's best friend.

I think they are finished. It all started last summer when I was supposed to see them play at Darien Lake then they canceled last minute. They said they needed prayer. They haven't booked a show since.
