I think the rest of Sam and Frodo's quest takes three chapters in ROTK. After that... you'll see. You may need to skim some more.

I love Tolkiens works, I've read the LOTR and the Hobbit 7 times, the Silmarillion twice and have read parts of other works related to them. Oh and i've watched the movies countless times!!!

I've read Lord of the Rings many times. When I was in high school I took and English elective that studied the trilogy. I got an A. One thing that really chaps my hide about the movies (there are two, with the original being a cartoon) is the way they rip off Glorfindel. The first time they substituted Legolas. Then the Peter Jackson movie had wimpy Arwen rescuing Frodo and bringing him to Rivendale. The outrage! I say, GLORFINDEL LIVES!

Yeah, I liked Glorfindel! Why'd they have to get rid of him?! I also didn't like that Faramir took Frodo and Sam to Osgiliath in the 2nd(?) movie . He certainly didn't do that in the book. There was a lot of stuff in the book that the movie just couldn't quite capture.
