| I've just finished my 1st week of School. It was pretty tough because I didn't get to have any friends of mine in any of my classes. But, I was able to talk with my friend, Jackson at lunch. He said that he's going to a Shadows Fall/All That Remains concert. I'm going to ask my mom to see if I can go.
I also had to skip Youth Group because my Mom was running late because she had to pick up my brother from somewhere.
Well, you know what they say, "Best of Times; Worst of Times."

| I've just been out for a long day of marching band. We had to play for a football game and our team won. Then I stopped home to refresh. Then, I went to one of the Marching Band teachers' party and we had a barbeque and went swimming.
We also had to play in a pep band later for a soccer game. It was pretty good because once again, our team won.
What a day!

| Hey. my computers at home are broken, so I'm using the school computers to post some of these posts. Well, it turns out that I won't be able to go to see Shadows Fall this Thursday, but not because my mom said so(in fact, she was still thinking about it). The real reason is because our computers don't work and that if we want to go, we have to get the tickets off ticketmaster.
Oh well. Better Luck Next time.

| Hey. I'm back. The computers in our homes are finally working. I'm going to my Youth Group today, but we won't be having worship. Instead, we'll be having practice today and Sunday. So far, school seems pretty fine.

| I'm going to be having some worship practice tomorrow at my church. It'll be great. Any advice from you guys about how to play a bit more coordinated in a worship team(even though I have gotten better)?
Oh yeah, I just finished another game with my Marching band. We won another game. The next game will be on thursday. We may still need your prayer and support. If it's okay with you guys.

| Hey. I've had a pretty rough day, yesterday. Church and Worship practice were alright, but my Mom is so legalistic. She says that As I Lay Dying isn't a Christian band. And she's also being extremely legalistic on the music that I like. I'm not trying to go down the wrong road that my brother has(you know, go to a Catholic church that doesn't mind letting you date a muslim, call Pat Robertson the "AntiChrist," claim Jerry Falwell was polluting Christianity and that most "Protestant/evangelical" preachers on TBN twist the Bible*), but she is so worried. She even overreacted on the flyer that I created for starting a Christian Rock band.
Seems to me that she's more concerned on what comes out music these days, than see is concerned about what comes out of todays' preachers such as Kenneth Copeland or Benny Hinn. Not only that she claims that watching Conan 'O Brien is doing the opposite of what Creflo Dollar says(I still have some respect for the dude, but what my mom is doing is practicely Idolatry).
I'll have to wait until tomorrow when I go to counseling.
*He's kinda right about TBN, except he thinks that Catholicism is the only true church.

| Hey there. It's been a long week. I met this nice girl who's into rock bands herself and is in a Emo/Punk band. I'm still trying to start that Christian Rock band. I've also gotten into the Deftones this past week. They sure have talent. Interestingly, one of my friends told me that he knows of a Christian band that sounds just like the Deftones(Cool, huh?).
Still working with at my church for the Worship team. I'm doing pretty good, but Andrew told me that I'm playing way too hard on the drums. I'll try going softer.
I'm still searching for a girl that I'd like to be friends with. I don't want to rush into a relationship, yet. I'll be still searching.
Peace.

| Hey there!
Marching band sounds like fun - what do you play? Good luck starting your rock band!
Ahh parent drama. I know my mom has trouble understanding the music my sisters and I like - although with her it's more that she doesn't think that rock or "harder" music is musically as good as classical/conteporary music. Different generations, I guess.
Have a good day!

| Another long day. I've been busy this week. I'm kinda feeling a little low this week since I'm still trying to find more people for a Christian Rock band. I need to read more of my Bible. I feel like it has been awhile. I should also start practicing drums again if I still want to get better.
I feel slopey this week. Maybe because of the haircut I got.

| I'm putting into consideration to try and learn how to play guitar or bass. I can't really start a Christian Band by making music on the drums alone. I'll have to really dive deeper into it.

| What a weekend. I had to perform at Marching Band and at Church.
At marching band, we had to play at another football game and did our "Pirates of the Carribean" score. It was pretty good. Our team won another game.
At church, we perform "Mighty to Save" by Hillsong United for our Church during offering time. It was really great. I'm getting better everytime I'm practicing drums. Tonight, we're going to our church again to see our friends so we can meet and hang out for Extreme Worship.

| For some reason I read the above as "we performed Pirates of the Caribbean at church". And I thought wow, that's a unique music choice
