Hey, I was just wondering where/how you find those articles you post in theology?
You mean those articles on CCM, psychology and other articles? I find them in various places.

Sure. So you just search for them and spontaneously encounter them?

Well, not really. I really found the websites for the articles on places like wikipedia, Prophecy Fellowship(That was for that article on Psychology), and other stuff.

What a week. I haven't really done much this weekend expect get back to school and work on my schoolwork. I've been doing some studying this week and tried to really get back into the school habit. So far, I'm doing better. I was able to get a B- on a Soc. St. test that I had to make up because I was sick. Also, I was able to get an A on a Vocabulary test that I too had to make up. This has been a week of schoolwork.

Other good news that have happened during school is that we got to watch a movie in Soc. St. class that took place when the British and Colonial Americans were fighting against the French. I forgot what the movie was called, but when I ask the teacher what the title is, I think I'll let you guys know.

Man. Back at the Secular music thread in the music forum, I posted another stupid link to another stupid site that lambashes Christian Music. I really wish I'd stop doing stuff like this. It shows that I obsess on stuff like this. Now I know how the devil is trying to keep my eyes from Jesus. He's trying to show me some random "anti-Christian music" website made by some legalists who have nothing better to do, and get me all worked up and scared when it says right in the Bible for us to make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord. I really wish I never see stuff like that again. But luckily, long ago I was listening to a Greg Laurie sermon and it was entitled, "Don't Worry, Pray." It was really good. I should be reading my Bible instead and not be listening to what Legalists say.

See you later.

This has been a tough weekend. I'm still having not much luck yet trying to find people for that Christian Rock band. My mom is still turning down Facebook.

Well, at least I'm able to play drums again more freely. If anybody is still availible on this, I have a quick question. Does anybody else here have anymore recommendations in helping me get a better passion for playing the drums again. The passion seems to be a little in the low side. Any help would do.

Man. Last night was tough. I was listening to a past episode of Way of the Master Radio on the computer. Basically in one segment of the program, Todd Friel talks about Joel Osteen's recent appearance on Larry King Live earlier this month. My mom was interested and decided to let her listen in, but that's where the chaos began. She was getting offended by Todd Friel simply correcting Joel Osteen's usage of scripture and when he was going over the part when Victoria was talking about seeing lives changed, Todd just commented that anything can change our lives; meaning that we can't just say that lives can get changed. That offended my mom, and probably by now she thinks Todd Friel is a false teacher. This is getting tougher and tougher everyday.

You can just say band, nobody here cares whether it is Christian or Rock and it will save your fingers the effort.

Not really, before I was in a band I would go weeks without playing... and generally I don't pick my guitar up between practices. You'll be fine, everybody goes through these types of things, it's not a big deal.

I don't know much about Friel outside the fact that he hangs out with Kirk Kameron who is in a whole other league of crazy...

The thing is, Joel Osteen is about the worst filth out there, besides Fred Phelps and Mike Huckabee... I think we've been over, several times, why Osteen is an idiot, seriously, next time you get the urge to read 'best life now' pick up the Bible because Christianity is not a get rich quick scheme.

Another day of work. I have write an essay on what I would do if I had a special party. It's actually a make-up assignment. Recently at a Starbucks meeting for our lifegroup yesterday, my Youth Pastor said that this month we'll be talking about music. I just hope he doesn't get a "holier that thou" attitude. It's already enough that I'm struggling to start that Christian Rock band. However, I might've came up with a prototype name(although, I don't know what to expect) called,"UnSeen." It could be a good name. I'd also like to check out Kronicles at a Youth Concert one day(That's the band that my friend Adam told me about).

I was also looking at a news article on Harvest online. It was on how Greg Laurie helped preach the Gospel to at least 10,000 people. The comments on the news article were pretty random. One comment suggested that he's producing false converts, but I think he's getting kids convicted of Sin and making the Gospel understandable and not compromised. I also found this helpful article on his website on how to measure a message on what comes out of todays' preachers'. I know that Pastor Greg doesn't dig deeper into the theology, but his messages still continue to minister to me everyday.

Here's the article.

One of the downsides of big events like Harvest Crusade and the Billy Graham Missions is that there is poor follow up with the people that want to turn their lives over to Christ. I don't think it's so much that these guys are getting false converts as much as they get people's attention and the local church body fails to disciple them.

Well, at least that there's a seed being sown that won't return void.

Well, I'm at school again. Apparently, I have to go to a Football game because we have the Marching band playing. But, it's at the same time that my Youth Group is having a Corn Maze. What should I do?

I would say football game. You're in the marching band so going to football games is part of what you signed up for when you joined the marching band.
