Oh. Hahahaha. I remember what could've been causing the issue. I enclosed the words 'style of music' in '<' and '>'.

My bad.

Nevertheless, please consider what I said, Jer.

Yay it's all fixed.

I tried to PM that to you, but your box is full.

I didn't read your post, but I know enough about HTML to have figured out on my own how Ryan's intended hidden text was actually read as a line of code. Thanks, though!

That'll teach Ryan for being so sneaky.

Another tough day.

I had to go to school, then to Christian Counseling with my Counselor, and then to Youth Group. I was able to pull it through. Tomorrow, I have to go to maybe two games with my Marching band. Then, to Autumn Blaze where there's going to be plenty of Christian music. Well, wait until tomorrow.

Indeed. The Holy Spirit is always with us. You don't need a counselor to connect you with the Holy Spirit any more than you need a priest to be forgiven for your sins.

How does a counselor have anything to do with the Holy Spirit? Counseling is good for help from a human, in fact, that is all it is or can be. Thats not a diss, but that is what it is. If someone claims to speak for the Holy Spirit, they have set themselves up as a medium of sorts. I would look at them as askance as at a witch or warlock, as they are claiming to be an intermediary between God or man. Biblically, there is only one of those, our great high priest, Jesus Christ.

What a weekend. I had to stay home because I wasn't feeling well. We had to get a bloodtest to make sure I didn't have Mono. I don't know if I have it yet. We'll have to wait later on.

Hey everybody. I'm starting to feel better now this weak. My sore throat turned out to be Mono-infected, but the throat feels better and more stronger than last weak. I actually had to miss school twice this week because of the soreness. But now, I'm at school and feeling better.

I was also watching Joel Osteen on Larry King Live last night. It was sadly, more disappointing. He claimed that he doesn't use crosses in his church because he wants a globe to represent the world. And all I can say is, he's doing a good job of pleasing it.

Well, that's all for now.

Just keep your tongue out of girls mouths and don't drink from the water fountain. You don't wanna be responsible for all hotties getting mono do you?

No, I hope you get to feeling better. And Joel Osteen is pretty worthless.

here's a review of Osteens new book Become a Better You
http://www.challies.com/archives/boo...oel-osteen.php

I especially liked this part:
Quote:
There are few things I love to eat more than bread. I just love a good loaf of white bread. I eat it the way many people eat junk food (and, I suppose, one could argue that it is junk food). Not too long ago we bought a bread maker from a person nearby who was selling all his possessions to move back to his native Poland, having found that North American living was not to his liking. The machine worked well for five loaves but on the sixth, while the bread was being kneaded, I heard a strange grinding sound followed by a sharp crack. I opened the machine and saw that the paddle, the piece that beats against the dough, had broken. I removed the lump of dough and decided I could simply put it in a bread pan and bake it on my own. A few minutes later I pulled the loaf from the oven. It looked just perfect—golden brown on top and shaped a whole lot better than the loaves that come out of the bread maker. I eagerly cut into it, looking forward to enjoying a slice of bread. But, to my surprise, I cut into, well, nothing, really. Apparently the dough had not been properly kneaded. The loaf of bread was full of air; it was full of nothing. I had baked a crust. As I thought about Joel Osteen’s new book, Become a Better You, I was reminded of that sad, pathetic little loaf of bread because this book, like that bread, is form without substance.

Check it out. A little "fill-in-the-blank" part. Anybody got any ideas on what to fill in?

Quote:
As I thought about Joel Osteen’s new book, Become a Better You, I was reminded of that sad, pathetic little loaf of bread because this book, like that bread, is form without substance. This is Osteen’s second book, and the follow-up to his bestselling Your Best Life Now. Like the previous title, this one features a picture of the smiling pastor on the front cover and offers seven steps to a better life. Like Your Best Life Now much of the book follows this format: “The way to ______ is not to ______. Instead, you need to ______. You might say, ‘But Joel, I can’t do ______ and ______.’ I know it’s hard. Rise to the challenge. Don’t let yourself get beat up or knocked down. God has so much more for you.” And like his previous book, this one is maddeningly repetitive. It is a handful of his sermonettes for Christianettes expanded into 380 pages of mind-numbing repetition.
