See, this is why print comics as we know them are bound to wither and die, and then reborn as something much more friendly to the modern era. I can drop three bucks to read twenty-something pages that often only tell part of a story that comes out with a month between each issue, or I can get
an entire backlog of a visually unique, clever comic like
Lackadaisy for
free.
I stumbled upon
Lackadaisy last week and was blown away - detailed artwork, a fun story, characters that feel familiar without being stock, so forth, blah blah blah. Check it out! It's a year or so old, so there's plenty to read. I have a feeling that is going to be one of my favorite comics, print or otherwise.
