Death Sentence

Who's going to see this?

Basically, it's a psychological thriller directed by James Wan of Saw fame, with Kevin Bacon in the lead role. It also features Kelly Preston and John Goodman. It's about a man who watches his son get murdered and then he has to watch the killer walk away free. It deals with the subject of revenge and it's consequences.

Here's the trailer for it;

This looks really interesting to me. I have respect for most of what I've seen Kevin Bacon do, and this movie looks like it should be pretty interesting.

It looks alright. I never liked the idea of the middle aged father going absolutely nuts on a brutal killing spree because his family is in danger. This happened in Firewall, and had me laughing (at the serious parts) by the end.

I'll probably end up seeing it eventually.

Apparently, this movie is much darker and grittier than Firewall was. This one's actually going to be rated R(then again, with the director of Saw, that should be fairly obvious) in comparison with Firewall's PG-13 rating.

I don't recall a middle aged man going psycho and killing people in Firewall.
