| hey, man, there are teams "better" than OU *ahemTexas* who are playing teams of less quality and playing worse, also. i know North Texas isn't in BCS contention, but be honest, thats more impressive than Texas' showing, Ohio State, and Michigan (of course)'s output, and, while you can make a case Ark St is better than UNT, Youngstown and App St arent.
and i am very confident and excited about the Miami game next week. |

| I didn't have much faith in Arkansas St
apparently I should've
cause they actually scored
and I picked them for the lowest score on NCAA Pick em'
hurmmph
well Arkansas isn't doing as great as I hoped
but at least they're winning/won

| This has been almost the perfect day for me.
Why?
1. Ohio State won, BIG.
2. Michigan lost!
3. Notre Dame Lost!
4. My school (Bowling Green State University) upset Minnesota in overtime!!!!!
5. I was that game no. 4
6. I got to fly on a private jet to the game, and had amazing seats
7. It was a gorgeous day. |

| Ah, Auburn came close to losing, which would have made the day absolutely perfect, but there was still the App. State ordeal.
And Nick Saban's first game here in town. 52-6 over Western Carolina; a team that we definitely should have beaten that badly, but the last few years, it hasn't happened. Roll Tide...Alabama is going to do some cool things this year. I'm not calling a national title, or even a high ranking and big bowl game, but something positive (relative to Alabama, anyway, which means that the standards are rather high). Good day... |

| I just have to stick my head in and say that I laughed at the way the Arkansas stadium went crazy cheering when the Appalacian State-Michigan game score was announced.

| First half of Hawaii vs. No. Colorado. Hawaii 42, No. Col. 0
Total yardage by Hawaii for the first half, 439 yards
Total yardage by Colt Brennan, 439 yards. Has this ever been done? Oh yeah, 6 TD passes.
Prediction, he won't play the fourth quarter. |

Prediction, he won't play the fourth quarter. | I don't know about in college, but last night in a highschool football game, our QB threw for 448 yards. I have never seen that many passing yards in a football game EVER. |

They did not hand off the ball at all in the half! I wonder what the 2nd half will produce. BTW, Hawaii is my alma mater, so I follow them all the time. I'm excited. |

Is the other team's defense THAT bad, or is Brennan that good?!?!!?
I just looked up the stats online for the highschool game last night, our QB Goehring threw for 477 yards and ran for 65 yards. He is being VERY heavily recruited by Ohio State, the University of Michigan, Michigan State, and Penn State. |

He's that good, you should see him if you can. Problem is, playing in Hawaii, he's three hours behind Pacific Standard time and six behind Eastern Standard. I watched him several times last year and he is impressive. In fact, last year he might have had even more TD's and yardage had he played the full game in a number of games. But, because they had the games wrapped up early, he often sat the whole fourth quarter.
My prediction was wrong though, he did not start the third quarter. |
