Halo Wars

Check out the second link first, it's much cooler. The game looks better than Halo.

Graphically? Most of the shots from that right now are cinematics or just CGI stuff done for a demo.

if the game looks as good as the demo and the cut scenes as good as the movie, yes.

it looks very much like a rip off of starcraft to me. I will not be playing this game.

All RTS games are pretty similar. I would not say it's 'ripping off starcraft'. I think it looks really sweet actually. I'm not a halo fan, but this just looks awesome.

Starcraft was pretty fun, but where the heck do you (Ax and claw) come to the conclusion that it's being ripping off at all?

Oh no, it's a futuristic space theme... NOOOO!!! Starcraft is the only one who can do that!!#$#@! *FART*

I'm really indifferent towards it. I don't play starcraft, I've just seen it played. Most RTS games seem to play the same (not control-wise...).

It could be totally different for all I know. It just looks the same.

No, the new Starcraft is a lot like this, only better... Like the giant mother ship type things and the air vs anti air etc....

Really? You've played them both? Amazing.

Oh, that's right, you're biased.

Get off the high horse, if both games are fun, then they are fun. There's no need to bash them needlessly. Almost all RTS games have the same features, no, wait, ALL RTS games have similar features. The fact is that both Starcraft and Halo have similar themes. This has NOTHING to do with one stealing stuff from the other. The science fiction Genre has spaceships. If anything, they both stole from Star Wars or Star Trek. I don't really care.

I own Galactic Battlegrounds, and that has air vs. anti-air. That's a trait common to any futuristic RTS games.

Exactly. In fact, I distinctly remember seeing that in one of the Civilization games. The old ones from when I was a wee lad and you could develop into space.

No, I'm talking about the battle style between the two.
