Wel, since you don't appear to be on right now, I'll go ahead and post my counter-argument.

http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/pos...ctflash=false&

The above is a ten minute in-game walkthru done by a developer. As you will CLEARLY see later in the demo, the aerial attacks are actually exactly like they are in the normal Halo games. Ever since Halo one, that is. Banshees have always flown in tight circles in order to get a line of fire and then attack. In fact, all of the vehicles move in the same manner as they do in the FPS Halos. So I really don't see what the problem is. Yeah, it's different from starcraft, but they're both really good. I will certainly play this RTS if I have the chance.

Wow. I could have swore that I posted that exact same demo in my original post. Hm, I wonder if everyone watched both videos that I posted links to. I agree. I think it looks just like Halo one and I will be upgrading to a 360 so I can play this game.

It may be the same one, I couldn't get any volume out of the first link you sent so I didn't finish watching it. The second link I watched.

That stinks. I think it is the same demo though, at least it looked that way to me. The trailer movie alone makes me want to play the game.

Man, that looks pretty cool. A Halo RTS...too bad it's 360 only.

It'll probably come out on PC. Microsoft does that. They would sacrifice all of their CEOs' first borns before they allowed Sony to have any rights to anything Halo and the Wii doesn't have anything close to the specs required for the game.

So wow this thread is old. I'm guessing it's okay to bring it back to life....

Anyways, anyone else played the demo for this? It's fairly interesting. Only problem is how much more easier it is to use a mouse in RTS games like this. Although there is an feature that quickly puts the camera over your base, infantry or Spartans.

There is one thing: this and Halo ODST make me wonder if Microsoft is milking all they can out of Halo fans.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".
