My defense is incredible (Lidstrom, Carle, Liles and Redden), my goalies are decent (Giguere, although he's injured, I also have Ward as third choice, and Turco), my centers are good. My left wings, a little suspect (although I think Nash is going to have another killer year like two years ago). The right wings are solid, but aging.

I think it will be good.

Sorry I couldn't make the draft guys...
I don't know enough about hockey to know if the late players that got picked for me are very good or not...I'll have to do some research. However, I'd say I had an amazing first couple rounds, I love my first 7 picks. My goalie's should dominate- Brodeur, Kiprusoff, and Emry. Should be fun.

The weirdest thing is that I didn't even think about the draft until that exact time, when I thought, "O crap, I missed the draft. I guess I won't be playing fantasy hockey this year. I went to the site, and it said 4:30 until draft time.

Pretty lucky.

I missed the draft because I was writing essays. I think I have the best offense.

My goaltending situation is very bright with the (quite literally) all-star combination of Luongo and Miller. Vincent Lecavalier is going to provide plenty of point-scoring punch and I have both of the under-rated Sedin twins, who both had 80-point seasons last year. I took a couple risks with injury-prone Martin Havlat and Ed Jovanovski, but I think they'll pay off. Ryan Smyth is a workhorse who should fit in well with Colorado, so I'm hoping for some excellent point-production from him.

Heck, having Eric Staal, Milan Michalek, Alexander Semin, and Tomas Kaberle as my backups certainly has me feeling confident. I was hoping to pick up Gaborik myself, as well as Malkin, who I think will have a big sophomore year.

Also, Dion Phaneuf and Sheldon Souray on defense is a nice combination to have.

So do I.

I was willing to let Kaberle in exchange for Gaborik, but Phaneuf is a beast on defense...

Did you take Gaborik without me knowing it?

Heh. I did better the first week before I started messing with my line-up. I should have just left it, never changing my starting line-up or trading players, you know, just as an experiment. Either way, I'm having fun.
