| Flight of the Fearless Flight of the Fearless is my first solo project. I've been writting songs for awhile and so I went ahead and decided to try working on an album.... And it's still in progress. I hesitate to post this due to the really rough versions of the songs that I have. I'm not half as good as other people's bands, but hey, I just got into music a year and a half ago. So I'll apologize now for the quality of the music. (I also recorded all this stuff over two monthes ago, and when you're an intermediate guitarist you can hear how you've improved in just a few monthes. So yeah, I've cleaned up my palm mutes now and sped up my solos.)
For now Flight of the Fearless is a rock/hard instrumental band just because I can't sing. Hopefully I can either get someone else to sing or learn myself. I play the guitar and bass on all tracks and I've just now started recording drums as well. I also play the little synth pads sometimes. I'll keep you updated as my new stuff comes out.

| Good ideas going on in there. I could totally see this going further. Production is very decent for the fact that you haven't been doing it long.
The next step is definitely to take these ideas and clean them up into more coherent songs, probably with vocals and such. |

| You should make these available for download on the purevolume. Sounds pretty cool. I'll definitely keep watching for more stuff.

| A friend of mine (bass player/singer) is thinking about starting a band, so there may turn out to be another member of Flight of the Fearless or another band entirely coming up pretty soon.

| Hey, that's pretty nice! I'd love to hear songs if you make a band. Those would make pretty sweet intros.

| Update - I've posted two new songs on my myccm page. One is the remix to a song I made called Firestorm. The other has no official name, but it has lyrics. I just can't sing them.

| I listened to Radioactive, i love it man, got some potential there for sure. And your recording is 10 times better than mine, as is your music, haha.

| I have a couple of new songs on my myccm profile now. I've been listening to allot of really heavy music lately and it's inspired me to start trying to write some heavier stuff. Just kinda dipping my toes in the water.

| You Bring Us Victory sounds professional. One of my favorite instrumental songs. Ever. You're doing great!

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight. | |

Maybe I'll take the time to rerecord it and polish it up some time in the future. I tend to rush getting the song together because I get all exited to hear how it'll sound. lol

| Just to let y'all know I'm having some trouble with my computer. I need an external hard drive before I can record any more music. It might be a few months before I can get it.

| Well I haven't recorded anything for about a year now, but I just did a new song yesterday (finally). I also have two new songs from rock and roll camp that I'll post about later. You can hear the new song, a rock/electronic sounding instrumental here. It's the first one on the list, Der Lodernde Zorn des Dachshund. It's German for "The flaming wrath of the dachshund". That's the problem with songs with no lyrics, they're really hard to name.
And update on Flight of the Fearless:
I'm still the only one in the band. :/ I am going to get my friend to sing on an electronica song I have in the works right now. It's no longer a strictly rock band, I'm having allot of fun with electronic music even with my limited keyboard knowledge. I'm also into Texas blues right now and I'm itching to do a Stevie Ray Vaughn style song soon. I'm also pretty good on drums now (I wasn't a year ago), so I have a newfound freedom from drum loops! I'll start recording drums as soon as I can get a decent mike for them.
