Meaning of "In Two--the Lament"

Can anyone tell me what this song(by Jennifer Knapp)means? I don't quite understand...

Finish Up Your Coffee, Love
It's Getting Cold
Let's Finish Up This Fight Tonight
Before The Sun Draws Neigh And I'm Old

(Chorus)

Have Mercy On Me I'm A Girl
Though I'm Cruel And You Cry
I Won't Shiver 'Cause I Know How To Break A Man
I Know How To Break A Man
I Know How To Break A Man In Two

Verse2:
Still Your Suffering, My Love
O, Who's To Blame?
You Might Be Tired, But I'm Not Through Fanning The Flame

(Chorus)

O, By The Tidings Of My Tongue
I Lie And Sing What Can't Be Unsung
My Soul Torn In Two By The Things That I Say To You
By The Things That I Say

Fear of coming out of my shell,/Too many things I can't do too well,/Afraid I'll try real hard and I'll fail,/This is how its been.
'Till the day you pounded on my/heart's door,/And you shouted joyfully,/ "You're not a slave anymore!"
You're free to dance, /forget about your two left feet,/And You're free to sing, /even joyful noise is music to me,/And free to love, /'cause I've given you my love and It's made you free.

Here: this was in an interview done by Christian Musicians.

CM: I read the lyrics to the song "In Two" where you state "I know how to break a man in two". Tell us about that song?

JK: It's actually contrary to what it sounds like. It seems I'm rough and I am trying to take somebody out. But the truth of it is, I'm trying to actually start again. I've been a little bit cruel and a little bit rough. I've felt the regrets, frustrations and anger that accompany that. I had this moment where I realized the affects of what it does, and I didn't want to do that anymore. The song was a process of that. I love it because the lyric is sort of rough and it definitely has a wall built up that is very solid. The music and attitude of it is very tender and sweet. You certainly feel the lament. That was a fun song for me to write; to say the things I could say one last time. Being grateful for the opportunities that I have to be more tender, loving and trying to get past that kind of stuff.

For me, kind Jesus, was thine incarnation;
thy mortal sorrow, and thy life's oblation;
thy death of anguish, and thy bitter passion,
for my salvation.

Therefore, kind Jesus, since I cannot pay thee,
I do adore thee, and will ever pray thee,
Think on thy pity and thy love unswerving,
not my deserving.
