If we were older, we would have been engaged. We talked all the time about where we would live.

My suggestions: a new hobby, journaling, listening to music, writing song lyrics, praying, reading the Bible. Those are all things I did to get over my breakup.

Well, to break it to you, you're not older, and you're not engaged. Time will heal the hurt, but you can help yourself by getting an attitude adjustment.

Talk is pretty easy to make, especially when you're only 15. It's the same deal with people saying 'I love you' after being boyfriend/girlfriend for 5 mins. For me, it's a bit early to be thinking about all of that anyway. But I know you'll get past it.

As for things to help, just get what you're feeling out there, either in speech or writing. Talk to someone, or write it. And pray.

Just interested, when you said there's some things you're doing you probably shouldn't, what did you mean by that.

Agreed. It honestly disgusts me when young people (and i mean people my age [im 16])act like that.I just dont see how you can find love in just a couple months then break up and find love again in another couple months.

It disgusts me that you would talk bad about people for doing something simply because you don't understand it.

Or maybe he does understand our human nature enough to know that you should be a little more careful with your emotions then simply letting yourself "fall in love" with every other girl you see. While we may not be able to completely control our emotions, but we can keep our emotions at bay enough until we get to know somebody better.

Someone who is constantly "falling in love" with different girls every few months almost assuredly does not know what love is.

And it disgusts me when people judge other people when they don't even stinkin' know them.

I wasn't even judging you, per se, I was merely responding to a post by bobthecockroach.

Also, while I may not know you, I know what it's like to feel pain after being rejected by a girl. And I certainly know of too many younger people who "fall in love" all of the time, and it's quite ridiculous.

Doesn't mean he's like that, so it's a bit harsh to jump to that conclusion.

I think that most of the latest posts here have been general comments, not related to the original issues. These things could very easily have been interpreted by hb13 to be directed at him, but they weren't.

As for the 'falling in love' stuff, it is pretty poor. The seiousness of the words has been misplaced/ignored. Do most teenagers know what it REALLY is to love someone (notice I said most, cause I'm sure there are some who do), as in the verb, not the emotion?
