Salvation in alzheimers patients

Ok i know the title may sound crazy but heres my question. What happens if an alzheimers patient gets married say in their 20's but because of the disease ,when they get to be about 70 they go back to thinking that its the time period when theyre 15 or so and they dont even remember getting saved. What happens then? The bible says once saved always saved but what if you dont even remember that you were saved and you were so evil before then that you didnt even care about church or Christ or anything?Idk if theres any scripture on this but i would appreciate it if you have any.

P.S.This was brought because my grandfather has alzheimers and he has lost short term memory. He thinks he lives in forest park still when hes lived in jackson for almost the past 20 years.

Why would forgetting you are saved make you any less saved?

I'm pretty sure that God is more powerful than Alzheimers.

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit pleads for us on our behalf, its a spiritual battle, I think that person would require a lot of prayer from the church, there's power in prayer. The Bible says that God will not lose any of his people so if that person was saved I'm sure they would still be saved, because although their mind is regressing to another time, their spirit within them still loves Jesus.

I seriously doubt that disease (even mental) isn't included in the list of things that cannot steal our salvation.

Did you mean to say 'is' and not "Isn't"?

No. His sentence is semantically correct but grammatically confusing (double negative).

I do love my double negatives. They don't not keep me warm on cold nights.

Yep.

Though to be fair, He is also bigger than Hell, Homosexuality, murder, adultery, hate, and all of the other things that lead people to sin.

But I agree, of course, that nothing can steal away our salvation, not even illness.
