Talking Crazy for Turtles and Tortoises!

Tell me about your experiences with your pet Tortoises, because I have had a share of experiences with mine.

This cross sits atop a hill, towering over the valley where I live.
My father built this cross and carried it up and set it into place.
This cross reminds my family and me everyday ''that by His stripes we are healed''.
We shall not fear sickness or disease, we shall stand with much faith in our hearts and say,'' We will not tolerate these evil works of the evil one, but stand firm in our faith and be healed in Jesus name.''
Through our lives living on this earth we will have faith and trust in Jesus' everlasting promises.

My friend Angie had a pet turtle named Popeye for at least 20 years. She found him when they were driving across the desert. Every year when the weather would start to get cold she would take him inside and put him in the bottom drawer of her dresser and he would hibernate there. In the spring he would start scratching, and that's when she would take him out and put him back in the yard. I didn't know that they were hibernating creatures, but it worked for Popeye - he lived a good long life.

So far my pet Tortoise Shelly has come out of hibernation either the day before the day after or the the day of Valentines day for just about 6 years.

We had a Sulcata Tortoise named "Koopa" for awhile.
Sadly, we had to find him a new home when we moved. We weren't allowed to keep him.
