any Christian Illusionists?

hey...I've been doing magic for about 8 years now, and I'm trying to learn more tricks i can do with a gospel message..anybody have any ideas? i allready have a ton of props and tricks, i'm just not very good at puting Bible stories for anything like that to em. if ya don't want to post it online you can email me magic_bc@yahoo.com.....thanks

I don't really know but I once roomed with a guy who worked for Andre Kole the Christian magician.

Andre Kole seems to not only put on a good show, but can explain to Christians why he does what he does. Every night someone will come up to him and say, "You know magic is condemned in the Bible, don't you?" And he will explain that he never claims it is magic but is doing a demonstration of illusion. In fact, it probably helps people dispel any faith in real magic and captures their attention as he leads his show into the gospel.

But since I can't answer your question with specific techniques, I would suggest seeing if there are any videos or works by Andre Kole you can find. Start with http://www.andrekole.org/

hey, thanks for the input..i've acctully seen andre kole live, and have talked to him alot through email...a good trick i just ordered from him awile ago was the 3 ball illusion...worth any bodys( magician or non) time checking up on...its really easy to do, so even if you're not a magician, you can use this trick as a witnessing tool. thanks again jay42

My pastor does alot of gospel illusions. A few times a year, he'll throw them into a message, or do some on the last nite of vacation bible school or something. Of course I can't remember any of the illusions now, but if he does it again soon, I'll try to remember to post some of them.

i dunno. i am instrested in "illusions". i have a really good card trick that i do that no one can ever figure out unless you see it twice.

I'm really more sleight-of-hand card magic than anything else, but I can normally work in a good story into anything. If you have something you want to work on presentationwise, I'd be happy to help.
