I find myself wishing I actually had the time for this.

I can't wait to get this game eventually. I don't have a 360, so I'll have to settle for the PC version. (As if it makes a difference)

Have you played this game? It runs fine even on a mid-level gaming PC. And they just released Pixel Shader 2.0 support, so now even older Radeon (9000 series) and nVidia (<6 series) are supported.

Then which game is it that looks so cool right now that everyone is complaining about how high the spec requirements are?

In other words, what is the game that currently the most taxing on PCs?

Bioshock is the newest game I've played, but I would guess something like Supreme Commander. If I am to believe what I hear, you only get the full effect with a quad-core processor. I've also heard stories of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. making computers overheat and die.

I wouldn't be surprised. They didn't quite make it with that game.

Crysis is going to be amazing...but you'll need some horsepower to really run it at its best.

Yep, I believe the recommended requirements are going to include a quad-core processor.

It's an absolute masterpiece. One of the greatest games ever made. I think video games have reached a new golden age.

So I finally actually bought this. Awesome....awesome. I've only played it like a good guy so far...it was nice, but I would've liked a more informative ending. Maybe playing the other way will yield more info.

*I know this thread is legally dead, but I see no need for a new one.

So the last post is from 2008, but that's okay. I finally just got around to playing through this game, and wow, it was worth it. Very fun, very creepy, and very intriguing the whole way through. The only exhausting thing about it was that, since I like to find every little thing each time, every time I went to a new level, I'd look at the mini-map and get a little overwhelmed at just how huge the game was. Then I'd play into it, kill more splicers, grab sweet Plasmids, and forget all about it. So, all in all, fantastic game, and the storyline was brilliant.
