Technically this is a song I wrote, but it sounds so poem-sy, I thought I would post it here. Picture it being sung by a woodland man with a Gaelic accent. That would be perfect.
Unfortunately (as I'm at work) I only have one verse up, though I'm actually not sure if I wrote another one, or not. Enjoy.

Verse:
A dewy path shines morning light upon the footprints of the night,
The wood was dark we had embarked to kill the loathing,
The conversation wills the last remaining scraps awaiting,
To leave in haste and find the grace of open skies escaping,
Chorus:
Why can't we see that we are beautiful?
Why can't we greet the still defeat of self and silently retreat,
Into the things we know are beautiful?
Show me the rest and let me rest upon this, yes upon this
Bridge:
Oh-Whoa-oh-whoa, oh-whoa-oh-oh-oh
Oh-Whoa-oh-whoa, oh-whoa-oh-oh-oh
Oh-Whoa-oh-whoa, oh-whoa-oh-oh-oh
Oh-Whoa-oh-whoa, oh-whoa-oh-oh-oh
