Question VOODOO LAB SPARKLE DRIVE

I've heard great things about these pedals. I just wanted to see if anyone had one or tried one. It's an overdrive pedal with a twist. It has the same chip as a vintage as a vintage ts808, but it has a less drastic midrange hump, better note definition, and it's true bypass. Here's the best part, it has a clean knob that can add an unaffected clean sound to the overdrive. It really gives the drive sparkle. Or you can turn the clean knob all the way on to turn the pedal into a nice clean boost.
The only bad thing that I heard about this is that the footswitch always breaks, but voodoo lab replaces it for free no matter what, no questions asked.
It sounds nice and I really want to try one out.

I have the VS Jekyll and Hyde and I love it. This is the only pedal that I would give up the JH for. The sound is just incredible, but I like the duality of the JH. Maybe one day i'll have both.

It's a great pedal. Definately pick it up.

You know the current (red) model is the second model of the J&H right? I don't know if I've heard anything about a third...I have heard about them doing single pedals though.

I wouldn't buy it. If they didn't come in one nice package, i'd have the sparkle drive instead of the jekyll side and something a little heavier (probably something fulltone) for the other side.

then it is the third. they have an ad for it on their myspace acount.

http://www.myspace.com/visualsoundusa

its called the V2 series.

"That’s right… start saving your dimes because what you see is about to explode right before your very eyes. The NEXT generation of pedals from Visual Sound are just about to become available. Can they be better than the originals? EMPHATICALLY & EXPONENTIALLY! We’re not just releasing old pedals with a new look… Bob has cracked the Champagne bottle over these babies and christened them “V2”! We have kept a tight wrap on them until now, but the time for arrival is just weeks away. Can’t stand it can you? Well… neither can we. The ultimate line from the ultimate boutique pedal and amp company… Visual Sound of course!"

and along with the new verisions of the old pedals, they are coming out with a fuzz box and a new double pedal called "double trouble". supposed to be like 2 ts808s

ohh...I have seen this ad. It came out around the time of Winter NAMM I think.

The Double Trouble does look pretty rad...I wonder if it's basically just two Jekylls side by side though. Notice that there's no OD pedal based on the Jekyll or the Route 66 OD.
