They do in my area. In fact, last year our Church had some literature which listed them as being a model Christian band and cited their "smashing success in the world of Contemporary Christian Music"...

huh. Maybe it's different here since they're a local band, but I don't know that they were really considered that successful of a Christian band. I mean, people in churches know that they used to be on a Christian label, but outside of that, I think they're just a local band.

oh...and I voted for Switchfoot on the strength of their first three albums.

I still love Switchfoot, even though their albums have gone down in quality over the past while. However, Luxury is freaking awesome. They get my vote.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.

It's still round one. The last round one didn't go over very well, so another one was started.

well that and a combination of all of the polls getting deleted when the site was hacked...had it not been for that, the original Round 1 would have completed.

Blindside has a chance? If you didn't notice, it's 11-5-5-3 with Switchfoot leading.

I still hear a lot of Switchfoot on Christian radio.

But I voted for Iona. They redefined how I think of "beautiful" in music.

Have some faith man! They have a way better chance than the last poll they were in against Petra, how is anyone including Switchfoot able to stand a chance against Petra?

I voted for Luxury, but it doesn't look like they have a very good chance of winning.

Blindside, mostly out of apathy for the other bands... and an underlying desire for Switchfoot to lose.
