There is snow on the ground.
This calls for a new desktop.
openSUSE 11.2, KDE 4.3, GOOGLE CHROME FOR LINUX BETA.

I'm diggin this one, but I wish there was a way to remove the text under icons on the desktop.

As far as I know, there is no way?

Rename them to just periods? Or something inconspicuous?

Periods don't work, that was the first thing I tried. Anything else is gonna be noticeable but -

actually just had an idea - is there any way to change to colour of the text under icons on the desktop?
If I could change it to a dark grey, then I could just match the colour of the background to it

Rename them as alt+225 or 255 (I'm not sure)

New desktop:

Might I ask which one it was?

Also, you can rename the recycle bin by creating a shortcut for it. (right click, create shortcut) and rename that.
