A smile helps you get through anything

this is my first thread, a smile can help you get through anything when you remember the JOY J IS FOR JESUS O IS FOR OTHERS AND Y IS FOR YOU this last week I worked for the first time as a volunteer for Hot August Night
Check-in and boy can people be ugly. But each day I started out with a prayer & a smile ! The prayer is one I try to say every day it is "LET THE BEAUTY OF JESUS BE SEEN IN ME TODAY" SO I try so start out any place I go with a smile and it works and also helps me to remember the "JOY" A lot of thing happen but the JOY help me make it ! People around me asked why I made it through with out lousing it and I could say JOY

Welcome!

Yes, I sure wish more folks would adopt the JOY approach to life; it would make things a whole lot easier!

Hello! I didn't realize that you had a blog. Someone once asked me what my definition of Joy was. I said "being happy with what you already have". As Christians we live with such abundance, how could we ever want for more? We forget this, of course, and allow ourselves to want more and more, depriving ourselves of the joy that He has given us.

What is Hot August Nights?

Welcome to CGR blogging, Ma'am.

Ah yeah, Tim was telling us about your HAN job. Sounds like a fun time with cranky people. Glad to see you held a good attitude about it.

Mrs. M, Hot August Nights is fun times with classic cars in Reno. Tim posted (hotlinked) a pic he took of Art and myself at HAN in our blog.

Hello Tim's Mom! I'm glad there's another mom on here. Pretty soon we can totally take over CGR! *evil laugh* and we can get T-shirts made: "Official CGR Mom"

If your son doesn't return from the battle in my blog this evening, know that I am deeply, deeply grieved, and sorry beyond the power of words or verbal expression.

On the other hand, allow me to take this moment to extend a hand of greeting and respectfully welcome you to CGR.

Ha. I think I am going to have to remind my mother to check this thing more than once a week.

Hey!
So what are we to call you, anyway? It's awkward to call you Mrs. Tim's Mom.

Ohmygoodness! I just read Tim's signature and, of course, rushed right over.

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

I am one of the moms that was fortunate enough to spend some time with your son at MtlFest. I know you know this already, but he is a wonderful guy! So wonderful, we are trying to find him a wife now. *grin*

One more time...welcome!

Here are a few blogwarming gifts...I seriously hope you're not on dial-up. *crosses fingers*

hi Mrs Cabong!

my name is Sabrina, and I think you should come be part of the fun when we do the mini-norcal gathering next month. (would you be willing to accept the bribe of a cupcake?)
