Good place to buy used/new CD's on the web?

I checked out the Forum Rules thoroughly, so as far as I can see, this is not in violation, so here goes!

Anyone have links/suggestions to good places online to shop for Christian CD's? I always check out ebay & amazon, but some of the 80's Christian metal/Rock that I am replacing the vinyl with CD's is still too expensive for my tastes!

I know about the individual mp3 downloads/itunes/napster, etc., but here again, those places don't have a lot of the early material that I am looking for.

I've been able to pick up alot of stuff from eBay as well...this week I'm probably going to pick up dc Talk's "Supernatural" for under $5 (inc. shipping) and possibly the Cold War Kids album for under $5 as well.

Why online? I routinely score pretty good stuff at Goodwill for $3, including Queen, Fiona Apple, some Zeppelin and even some indie stuff.

I usually go there, but I was looking for some early Bloodgood, & the CD's are running close to $20!

I'll have to look into that. We have a local Used/New music store that I can pick used stuff up for 1/2 price, but you're kinda limited to what they have available at the time, i.e. trade ins.

I was hoping there would be a "wholesale" type CD store online somewhere that I wasn't aware of.

Bloodgood's albums are now available on iTunes. I downloaded All Stand Together for $9.99. That beats the $30 someone wanted for a used copy on ebay.

I just checked iTunes.

All of Bloodgood's albums are up there, four of Whitecross' first five albums (all but In The Kingdom) are there, three of Barren Cross' albums are up there, both of Mastedon's albums are up there (if you like melodic hard rock...check them out), all of Guardian's albums are up there (including First Watch and their Stryper cover EP) and two of X-Sinner's albums are up there.

Not bad.

I was more impressed when I saw they The Altar Boys up there too.

Looks like they have most of Bride's early albums as well.

And Holy Soldier and Tourniquet.

I always use eBay. I was once able to buy 3 brand new CDs on there for $20 total. If you keep your eyes peeled, you'll be able to find pretty much any CD you want for a very good deal.

I also occasionally use Family Christian. I get these buy 1, get the 2nd item 50% off coupons and use them to get a couple CDs for under $20. Of course, you probably won't be able to find some CDs from the '80s there, but it's a good idea for the newer CDs.

Amazon ain't too bad. Make sure you're buying over $25 worth of products so you can cash in on the free shipping. They have a good selection of used stuff too... but ebay is probably better for that.

it really varies on what you're looking for. I bought a CD from Amazon's used stock for dirt cheap, and it was one that I never saw coming up on eBay.

Online, I just use ebay and occasionally some local distros. Even when I order things from the US, with international shipping I don't end up paying too much. In fact, it's extremely rare for me to ever spend more than $15 AU on anything at all online. I recently paid $6 for a cd from the US. That's the cost for it as well as international shipping (I live in Australia). Amazon can be very good as well, especially for older Christian stuff. I also buy a lot of my cds from op/thrift shops, pawnbrokers and secondhand sections. I very rarely will buy anything new if I'm not shopping online, unless there's a good sale on somewhere.
