| i found this quote from an article on yahoo very interesting Quote: |
Technically, Bonds swung, connected and sent a ball out of the park 756 different times in his 22-season career. But it takes Easter Bunny-level gullibility to believe he did it naturally

| I was lucky enough to turn the tv on right before he hit the home run. But I agree with you guys about Hank Aaron, it was classy of him to make that video. But I think its only a matter of time before A-Rod or someone else breaks the record again, then we won't have to worry about this whole steriods thing.

| Man I can't wait until someone else breaks the record. And I don't blame him either. Maybe if Barry didn't cheat, but I definately wouldn't want my record brwken by a 'roider. |

He's been tested countless times and has always come clean, and as we all know steroids must be taken continuously if they are to profit you anything. Bonds is 43 years old and has 22 homeruns this season, why do all those other homeruns he hit when he was younger and in better shape have to be from steroids? I'm getting so tired of all the Bonds haters saying he took steroids so they can try and make believe he didn't really break the record. |

| But seriously, look at Bonds back in his Pirates days and look at him now. If it wasn't steroids, I don't know what. |

Dustin Penner of the Edmonton Oilers was 5'8 120 lbs going into highschool and on draft day he was 6'4 240 lbs. If you lift weights and eat properly putting on 35 lbs is no big deal. |

From 93-99 he broke 40 twice. From 00-04 he broke 40 HRs every year (49, 73, 46, 45 and 45).
I think the view is that most players hit 30-35 years old and start to slow down. Bonds hit 35 in 99 and it started generating some serious power numbers at what is generally considered a slowdown time. |

Anyone look at A-Rod's stats? Here they are. http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/individual_...347&statType=1
He went from 23 to 42 in one year! And only 5 in 48 games his first season. |
