Does anyone know (for fact) what the policy is on steroids when it comes to baseball? I heard someone say earlier that he absolutely, 100% was not on steroids, that he's passed all the tests he's taken. My question is... has he passed scott-free, or does the MLB have a similar policy to that of the Tour de France? | Its a sketchy policy.Im not sure if HGH falls under any of those categories but i dont think it does and thats a major problem. Also Bonds failed an amphetamines test last year which im pretty sure was a violation also.

| That article also said that there was NO testing policy for steriods before 2002. It has been alleged that Bonds starting taking steriods after the 1998 season, and in 2001 he hit 73 home runs. So maybe he has passed every test since 2004, when they started testing. Since 2004 he has hit 5 homers (granted it was because he has hurt), 26 home runs, and so far 23 this year. So it is a moot point that he never failed a drug test, because during the years that he alledgedly was on steroids, there was no steroid testing policy. |

| A-Rod? Granted we all knew it was coming but it sounds like Canseco is unofficially/officially accusing A-Rod of taking something.Pretty much if your playing baseball nowadays and are doing anything significant your gonna be accused of taking steroids. Its a shame what baseball has become. And if Selig really did know about this a while back during McGwire and Sosa's record breaking season he should be fired.Just pathetic.

Is it legit? I have no idea. |

| It seems like whenever someone does something good, Canseco calls them out. I don't think it is legit at this point, and now that ive said that some people are probably gonna chew me and iceman out on here. |

#39 | | O.o | Hey, they got around to A-Rod too. I think it's all some retired, bored baseball players that want to make trouble. |

Fans were leaving in droves (I was one of them) after the 94 strike, and the single season home run race between Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire brought back much interest in baseball. Owners along with the Commissioner wanted the good times to roll, so turned a blind eye to anything that might drive fans away again.
This season attendance is high, ratings are up, and even though Bonds creates controversy, it also creates interest.
What's so disconcerting, is the kids that look up to these players, and conclude that cheating is a way to achieve success/money, and even if you cheat you will still be accepted and not shamed these days. As a Christian I am so glad that I will be accepted by God, dispite my shortcomings, but as a Christian I must live my life in a Godly way as Christ's representative. |

| I don't think they just want to make trouble. I think that, if they're retired baseball players, they're probably genuinely upset, seeing as their sport is being ruled by suspected dopers.
Cheating... and even just suspicions of cheating... can take the fun out of everything. |

| I hope Conseco is right about A-rod. I despise A-rod, more specifically the Yankees. |

| Jose is just trying to make sure that the only thing he's not remembered for is bouncing that ball off of his head
