Reggie Miller Coming Back?...

With the Celtics?!?
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2966170

I'm gonna say it's unlikely. But...

It could work, he'd be behind Ray Allen on the chart though. I'm betting he can still shoot.

Basically, the Celtics just need to get a PG (Rondo?) to work out with this team, and they should be a favorite.

I feel the same way about this as I did when I heard the rumors about Scottie Pippen returning...

everyday player? probably not...
sixth man? probably not...

but 15 minutes a game? I think he'd be able to do great in that role...and I agree, I bet he can still shoot...if you've got the touch it's not just something that goes away.

which comeback? The Bulls three-peated with Jordan after his first comeback. Sure his second comeback (with the Wizards) wasn't as good, but he was trying to be the number 1 guy on a team that wasn't very good anyway. Miller would be coming into a support role for a team that already has a strong foundation.

Wow, that shocked me...I doubt it'll actually happen. But, why not come back to play with Paul Pierce, KG & Ray Allen...Allen & Miller could be a good tandem. I think if Rondo keeps improving they could have a really good team.

They might be the two best pure shooters ever.

Yeah, seriously. Having Miller and Allen on the floor at the same time would be lights out. If KG ever wanted to have the middle of the floor opened up, that should do it...

I would honestly like to see that though. It would be pure ownage if the defense couldn't step out in time. Actually, it would probably be pure ownage even if they did.

This would be a great move for them to bolster their bench...especially since they already traded half their team away.
