| What was the last thing you cooked? I don't think any explanation is needed....
I thought it would be cool to see what people cook on a daily (or not so daily) basis.
So...
What was the last thing you cooked?
Last night I made seven-cheese tortellini with vodka sauce....NOT from scratch. |

| I don't cook nearly as often now that Caleb is here. Chris cooks more than I do... I did do bacon and eggs yesterday though.

Salmon poached in White Wine over Broiled Vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, tomato), with a creamy Vinegarette.
I saw Emeril Lagasse cooking it at the doctor's office last week so I STOLE IT. |

| I cooked some amazing tomato soup. I don't even remember what was in it now... I do know that it was amazing. I haven't cooked in a good while. Now that I think about it I very well may cook dinner for my family tomorrow.

| I just made the chocolate-berry sauce that is going in my cheesecake. The sauce is cooling in a plastic container on the counter.
Before that, I made spanish rice and coconut-breaded shrimp for dinner. Art really seemed to enjoy it.

| I somehow missed this thread. I cook every day. I am just about to go to the kitchen to make a bbq chicken salad. That's what I like to do with my leftover oven barbequed chicken. It is lettuce, chicken, cheese, ranch beans, corn, and salsa (or ranch dressing). |

| I cook pretty frequently. Today, however, was student food day. I made a microwaved scrambled egg on toast with ketchup. It was edible. I call it, "Irradiated Chicken Fetus Sandwich With Tomato Puree". |

I enjoy cooking quick things; I can't wait for hours usually.
The last thing I cooked was mac and cheese.....not out of a box.

| The last thing I cooked was last night.
Vermicelli with a Tomato Cream Sauce.
I cheated a bit. I used Classico Mushroom and Olive Sauce as a base. I then added cream, parmesan, white wine, and some spices.
Topped it all with some feta and served with a nice glass of Shiraz. |

| Last night I made Fettuccine Alfredo and sweet corn with Merlot. This morning it was French Toast, apple slices, red grapes and milk.
I'm teaching myself to cook right now so everything is very simple. This is my fourth day and my husband is pleased so far. Hopefully I'll have entrees like Chelsea soon.... |
