| I made an apple pie (for the first time) from scratch! It actually turned out really pretty (criss-cross top crust) and tasted sweet, applely and cinnamony. We are not big pie-eaters but I had apples going bad so I tried it. |

| My Grilled Cheese, which consists of cream cheese, pesto, havarti, and tomato relish.
DELISH!
Next time I think I'll substitute chevre for the cream cheese. We'll see. |

| "leftovers" lasagna. I was going to make it with eggplant, but of course, it went bad before I could use it. Pretty much everything I used was leftover or frozen - the only things I bought in preparation were a tub of ricotta cheese, a packet of Italian sauce mix, a can of tomato puree, and cans of chopped olives that were on sale. I used lasagna noodles leftover from my roommate's lasagna-making a couple days before, leftover frozen vegetables, two half-used leftover bags of Morningstar Farms burger crumbles, and leftover cheese my roommate had.
And it turned out to be really, really good. |

| Vegetarian Chili garnished with Sour Cream & Baked Cheese "Lace".
It was good, but now my house stinks.....I can't handle smelling food after I've cooked it all day & eaten it. Honestly, I can hardly stand to eat if I've been cooking it for awhile. |
